enough

happiness comes and goes

and so would you

you were never there when i needed you most

i felt like a garden that just needed care

but you never even knew it was there

i would dance in the rain

but you would just complain that it came

you never appreciated anything you had

you would just wish for what you didn’t

……….

would i ever be enough?

i gave you everything i had

and you’d just call me a disappointment

others saw me as a bright colors

but you saw me as darkness
